Our environmental consulting actually goes beyond the industrial regulatory compliance perspective by addressing the NEPA regulation related issues of cultural/natural resources.

With the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) as the impetus, ACS can provide an array of services focused on assessing and preserving cultural resources.

What NEPA programs are typically considered for review?

Services include, but are not limited to, cultural resource monitoring; historic property surveys; archaeological surveys; historic preservation of buildings, roads and bridges; historic building documentation; as well as historic contents services.  Beyond that, we also work with various acts, studies, management plans; and state laws and regulations. These include Traditional Cultural Properties (TCP), Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) to preserve and support.

Better planning leads to reduced impacts

ACS’ natural resources services focus on managing our important natural resources through proper technical evaluation and planning, which incorporates a diverse group of professionals such as biologists and ecologists. The primary objective is typically to provide relevant evidence of environmental impact which may be caused by commercial development.

We work with various organizations and their guiding philosophies, along with related plans and studies. These include Bird and Bat Conservation Strategies (BBCSs), Comprehensive Conservation Plans (CCPs), Habitat Conservation Plans (HCPs), and Watershed Management Plans. From planning, through mitigation and permitting, we specialize in all aspects of helping manage natural resources as well as cultural resources.

We also bring a complementary set of services to the table.  Through a staff of scientists and skilled support personnel, we can provide you with wide-ranging expertise in environmental permitting and compliance, permitting risk assessment, civil and environmental engineering, logistics management, wildlife survey and monitoring, fish survey, and vegetation and wetland assessment.
